Fresh Sardines
Whole Foods had some fresh sardines...So I figured what the hell, I'll go ahead and make some.
I know that they tend to rot quickly but wow. They had a strong fishy smell.
Boning them the first time was a tad difficult.
I cooked them via grill top on my stove. With lemon, pepper, salt, and onion powder.
I suggest you try to do the "Caipirinha "(Tradicional Brazilian drink):
HOW TO MAKE A CAIPIRINHA Cut lemon in 8 slices add sugar to your taste mash lemon and sugar together fill the glass with cachaça (tradicional brazilian drink (spirit) add 3 cubes of crushe ice Mix it well.
ok. so i bought fresh sardines over thanksgiving weekend. and i could NOT bring myself to clean them properly. i ended up chucking them away. FAIL. i'll stick to the tinned ones.
